Supporting Our Military

If you're looking for a heartwarming story that will restore your faith in humanity, look no further than Operation Homefront. This year's event once again took place at Kent's Market in Roy and was a huge success! The event is organized to help military families in need during the holiday season. . Operation Homefront is a fantastic way for local businesses and the community to give back to those who have sacrificed so much for our country, but it's also an opportunity to connect with other volunteers and form lasting connections. This year, we'll dive into the details of what makes Kent's Market Operation Homefront such a special event and why you should consider volunteering for military appreciation initiatives like this one. And most of all - we want to offer a massive THANK YOU to all of our customers who have made this a reality.

Meals for Military
On November 10 Kent's #filledthetruck at our Roy store! Our customers bought and donated $10 pre-packaged bags of groceries and donations from all 4 Kent's Stores were collected at the Roy Location where we were able to fill an entire truck! All donations went to Local Utah Military Food Pantries and VA Pantry across the Wasatch Front!

We are so grateful to our employees and community for making this event such a success. Together, we were able to make a significant impact and show our appreciation for those who have served our country. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make Meals for Military a success.  Kent's Market is honored to be a part of such a supportive community.

**Operation Homefront - Holiday Meals for the Military

Operation Homefront is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to military families across the US. They focus on helping military families overcome financial challenges, such as paying for rent or utilities, and providing emergency financial assistance during times of crisis.

In addition to financial assistance, Operation Homefront also offers other types of support. They provide transitional housing for homeless veterans, as well as counseling services for those struggling with mental health issues related to their service. 

This year, Kent's Market partnered with many other businesses for their Holiday Meals for the Military event. Partners included Kent's Market, P&G, Utah Veterans Fund,   Johnston Supply/Amana, Swire Coca Cola, Niagara, Lucid, General Mills, Swire Coca Cola, Niagara, Hormell, Kraft/Heinz Foods, Bimbo Breads, Sparkling Ice, Don Julio, Pepsi and Fowers farms  , We were able to provide groceries for over 150 pre-registered military families! Each family was given  3 cases of beverages, 8 bags of groceries, 1 box of fresh local produce and a $50 Kents gift card! You can imagine that some cars coming through Kent's were bursting at the seams!

We are so grateful for our partners and customers that helped us make these events a tremendous success! And most of all, we are grateful for those that serve our country day in and day out!
