Gnocchi with Culinary Tours Spicy Tomato & Vodka Sauce

Ingredients:
4 large potatoes, boiled and shredded
2.5 cups flour
1 egg
Pinch of salt

(to avoid making homemade gnocchi, you can purchase pre-made gnocchi in the pasta aisle).
Instructions for homemade gnocchi:
On a smooth surface, mix potatoes, flour, and salt together. Once well mixed, shape into a doughnut shape and crack egg into the middle. With a fork, whisk egg and slowly add flour and potato mixture until a smooth dough is formed. Knead for 3-5 minutes, cover with plastic wrap, and let sit for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, cut and roll into long snake-like shapes and cut into 1/2-inch cubes. For a traditional look, roll each cube down a fork to make small indents.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add salt. Once at a boil, add gnocchi in small portions and remove from water once each cube has floated to the top.
